Hi Rich, Sorry, I should've included more info about my setup before. Here goes. I'm running the latest Ubuntu server, v10.10; here's the output from uname -a: Linux ws1 2.6.35-22-generic-pae #33-Ubuntu SMP Sun Sep 19 22:14:14 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux Because this distro did not come with DBI or DBD:Pg, I used cpan to install those. Because those components required other packages that weren't included with this distro, such as pg_config & cc (yes, it did not include cc!), I had to fetch those with apt-get, but I eventually arrived at a system with everything installed & tested. I'm able to view my data in reports, & everything is correct -- I simply cannot add to it. I'm thinking that a cascaded sequence might have been toasted during the data restore operation... -- Best Regards, Wallace _______________________________________________ SQL-Ledger mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ledger123.com/mailman/listinfo/sql-ledger
