as far as I am aware.

The Income Report is just that: a report.

    All,

I'm using ledger123 (2.8.30) for simple home finances. For a few
upgrades now the Income Statement report (Reports -> Income
Statement) doesn't work properly unless I choose Accrual. If I
choose Cash I'll get the first page summary but if I click one of
the entries it won't drill down. All I get is a new tab and an
empty report. The core numbers appear to be identical but I'd like
the drill-down bit to work too. This install has been updated
several times from an original sql-ledger install and DB, almost
always without issue. Everything else I use in it works as
expected. Where might I begin looking to fix this behavior?

    thx,

    r

Paul,

Key here is I'm not using an "Income Report". I'm using Reports -> Income Statement. Almost every top level selection has sub-selections that include a "Reports" option. I'm not trying to split hairs here, I just want to be sure we're talking about the same thing.

If I select that Income Statement it shows all my sources of income, grouped by source and a total for that source, much like Reports -> Chart of Accounts. But if I click on one of those sources it builds a list of all the transactions in that source (account) that contributed to its total. Very nice. But it only works if I choose Accrual. We have income as self-employed contractors so we have to use cash accounting and not accrual. With our small needs the totals do not differ, but it would be nice if Cash worked.

It bears mentioning again that I'm using Saqib Armaghan's Ledger123, not Dieter's SQL-Ledger. It also bears mentioning that I am now not really sure from where I inherited this feature; SL or L123. I've looked quickly in the L123 website and didn't find mention of it. Tried to go the SL and the site appears to be down at the moment. Deeper links give me a 404. Whatever...

Regards,
