Does anyone know how to turn off the locking? Is there a check box
somewhere?

There is no check box. Try branch "editorderinvoices". It has no lock
on invoices, but I'm not sure if it has on orders or not (and no time
to check immediately). If it has, we have to speak with Armaghan.

Armaghan here :)

I don't think I have made any such change that prevents editing of
orders generated from time cards. Tom, can you confirm this problem is
with 'ledger123' and not with 'sql-ledger'?

Yes, ledger123.

There is a lock on editing invoices which are generated from orders
but this is not related to this issue Tom is facing. And the
'editorderinvoices' branch is to remove that lock.

Looks like PEBCAC. I was incorrect in stating that the lock was made when I
created sales orders from timecards. I went back and looked at what I did and
realized that I did not notice the lock until I had turned the sales order
into a sales invoice. When I realized I could not modify the sales invoice
I figured I would modify the sales order and recreate the sales invoice.
When I could not modify the sales order I assumed (incorrectly) the lock was
from the timecards to the sales invoice.

In my situation, I am not sure if all of this locking helps or not.

So I guess my options at this point are:

1. Make sure I do any editing before I create invoices.

2. Use the branch "editorderinvoices"

wrt to branch "editorderinvoices" How do I do that? I do not understand git.

If I use the branch "editorderinvoices" what are the down sides to that? Do I
lose other functionality?

Do I need to start with a fresh install or can I switch between the 2 using
some git command?

Thanks for the help.

Regards,
