Restore your 2.8.16 backup, then log in to 2.8.33 and tell us what error message you get. If an upgrade failed, the database is in an undefined state and you can't try again and again.

Hi all…

I do not want to take any ones time and I do not want to run in the
circles either….

I upgraded the server as much as I could and sql-ledeger from 2.8.12 to
2.8.16…. then I hit few small problems and decided to go further…

I installed newest stable Debian 6.0 and I ventured into ledger123… I
like the option of effortless change of running versions J…

I tried to run the system with my data set 2.8.16 directly into 2.8.33
failing the “master” option as well as “sql-ledger” option. After try
and fail procedure I went as far as 2.8.24…. if I try to go to 2.8.25
the system fails with message that “Report” table already exists L….. If
I go “master” option it runs sub-28 versions but does not do the backup…
2.8.28 gives me same table “Report” error.

I would appreciate any hint where can I find necessary info… or direct
instructions J

Best regards

“Jersey”
