I'm sure it's not enough to change table "acc_trans" only. A few days
ago, I had the same kind of differences when I made calculations with
tax and total amounts in invoices.
A word to the initial question: In Europe, we don't use cheques, so
probably nobody here uses the reconciliation function. For this reason,
it is difficult for us to find out if the program has an error at this
place.
