Rich, don't be afraid, the differences to version 2 are not so big that
you can no longer use the software. You have to remember that bugfixes
are made on the most recent version only. On the other hand nobody
blames you if you ask a question and work still on 2.8.37 (at least as
long as somebody remembers how version 2 looked like).

If you are using any Ledger123 enhancement, please do not upgrade yet and
wait until I have moved all my enhancements to the new version.
I've not upgraded 2.x for a while because no recent enhancement looked
applicable to my needs. My basic question is whether 2.x will continue
to be
supported since it's well suited for us small businesses or if we'll be
forced to migrate to 3.x when it offers no advantages.
I suppose that this weekend I should grab the most recent 2.x code and
upgrade the current installation, remembering that the simple upgrade
approach didn't work here.
