In the recent update to Ledger123 2.8 (pushed to github), I have added a flag 'Allow GL Transaction' on chart of accounts screen. Using this you can prevent your users from making GL transactions to particular accounts like the ones which are posted to from other modules. (AR, AP summary accounts)
After upgrade, please run sql/Pg-custom_tables.sql on each database to add the new column ALLOW_GL In chart table. I shall port this change to rel3 branch once it is confirmed to be bug free.
