Sarah, Are you using ledger123 (the enhanced sql-ledger) or the standard one (from sql-ledger.com)?
In standard sql-ledger it is not possible. In enhanced sql-ledger, you can view onhand at a particular date using Warehouses--Reports--Onhand report.
