Cheaper than the book (which is worth every penny, or so I'm told)
Funny this should come up, as I've been implementing a general purpose
tree manager based on nested sets this week. It's certainly a little
tricky, but it does make certain operations much easier to implement
(in terms of not running a billion queries to see the whole tree).
