I have no idea where that idea came from, though I hear it all the time.  I
use CFSTOREDPROC all the time with no problems.  I've had a couple of
people tell me that they had problems until they set their PROCPARAM
statements in the same order as the definition of the stored procedure.
However, I do that all the time anyway, and it's probably a good idea
regardless.

Thank you for the response , that is what I had suspected.

That withstanding in your experience would you say that CFSTOREDPROC is
flaky and should be avoided
if possible ?
