Mike,
thanks for the suggestion. All my table names start with tbl and have no
spaces or punctuation in them. I do have some fields named z_fieldName and
will go and take those out but am confused as to why None of the tables
worked. I'll go back and make the changes to those fields and post back to
the list my results.
This also makes me think that I need to recheck my rights on the SQL DB.
Maybe it can't create the tables so that when it gets to creating the
triggers, the tables it is trying to reference aren't there. I would think
that I would get an error on the fact that it couldn't create the tables.

Thanks

Stephen

Have you got any illegal characters in your table names ? or in field
names? I've found it is best to have no spaces, or puncuation marks at all
in my field names or table names, even though strictly speaking it's
possible.

I suggest you go through your access table and change table names such as
This_Table to something like ThisTable and make sure there are no leading or
trailing spaces on the name.

Subject: Help with Upsizing - Server error 208

I have been trying to upsize an Access 2000 DB to SQL 2000 using the
upsizing wizard in Access. Things look like they are proceeding along
nicely and then I get an error message for every table in my Access DB. The
error says:
Server Error 208: Invalid Object Name
and then it has the name of one of my tables and it does this for every
table. All of my tables start with tbl and then the name of the table like
tblNameOfTable. It appears to be bombing when writing the Triggers to
support the Cascade updates and deletes. The end result is a new db in SQL
server with none of my tables in it.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks

Stephen
