Andrew,
After you perform a trace, you may want to consider (strongly) separating
your web server and sql server. Unless you have limited your memory usage,
SQL will grab it all. You don't want your middleware fighting for ram. There
are also security implications to your data if you host other people /
clients on it (depending on what you may have enabled).
To limit your memory in SQL or even turn processors off:
Enterprise mgr. > properties of your registration / sql instance > Memory
Enterprise mgr. > properties of your registration / sql instance >
Processors
To run a SQL profile:
Enterprise mgr. > Tools > SQL Profile
Also, you should turn on your CF server debugging to see where requests
typically run long.
