You need to set up a system data source on the machine that is running Cold
Fusion that points to the SQL Server either by the name of the server on
the network, or by the IP of the server on the network.  Then go into the
Cold Fusion Admininstrator and create a DSN that uses the data source for
your SQL Server.

When you set up the data source make sure you are using TCP/IP or pipes
correctly for your security.
