Thank you for your quick response Tim.  The problem we have is that the
current host is being very difficult in their handling of the possible loss
of this client and are not being helpful at all.    It has been like pulling
teeth just to get to this point.  If there is any way to work with the MDF,
we would like to avoid having to make the client go back and contact the
host.

The client is completely non-technical and in fact has no physical or even
remote desktop or terminal service access to the machine hosting the
database.
