Thanks.  I'll just change 45 web sites to using Oracle instead of MS
SQLServer.  Oh wait.   No one offers Oracle on shared hosting.  The
economics of that would be horrendous.

Sure. In Oracle it's as simple as using exp and imp (or datapump in the
latest versions).
