Yes, current svn in both cases, python 2.4.2 using the ORM - it showed up in the same heavy load as the prior issue with repr(), i.e. a lot of mapped objects 190k or so, ends up requiring 1.4G on the amd64 box, but only 680M on the laptop.
One difference is that the amd64 box is running postgres 8.1, while the laptop is still on 8.0.3.
