The docs for Session.expunge() say that it removes the passed object from the session. In the code session._unattach() is never called inside expunge() and the object is only expunged from the session's UnitOfWork.
I would expect.. >>> session.expunge(obj) >>> object_session(obj) None ...but object_session() still returns the session attached to the object. It seems that the session is forgetting about the obect but not vice-versa. Am I missing something?
