Is there a way to customize the connection pool without providing a
connection method?

>From the documentation:
......
 def getconn():
    return MySQLdb.connect(user='ed', dbname='mydb')

 engine = create_engine('mysql', pool=pool.QueuePool(getconn,
pool_size=20, max_overflow=40))
......

It seems to me that connecting to a database is already handled pretty
well by sqlalchemy. Also, if I wanted to change databases, I'd have
to have different connect methods.

I'd like to be able to customize the pool size like this:

 engine = create_engine('mysql', pool=pool.QueuePool(pool_size=20))

Thoughts?

Thanks
Dennis
