I know I've been really quiet here for the last few years, but my main wishlist item is still outstanding -- I'd like to see us distribute all of the Parse::RecDescent-based parsers precompiled. I did some testing a few years ago and saw a huge speed increase: Running the mysql parser on the test data (in t/data/mysql) reduced run time from minutes to seconds. This is kind of a big architectural change, so I don't think it should go into this release, but I think the time to do it is immediately after a release, when there are no outstanding changes. -- (darren) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ -- sqlfairy-developers mailing list sqlfairy-developers@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/sqlfairy-developers
