SQLite version 3.8.8.1 is now available on the SQLite website:

Version 3.8.8.1 is a very small change to version 3.8.8 that fixes an obscure
bug that has been in the code since version 3.8.4 but which was just recently
discovered. The bug is difficult to reach, but if it is reached it can result
in incorrect answers - specifically rows returned out of order. There are no
security issues as far as anyone knows. Nevertheless, upgrading is recommended.
