I've tweaked the outbound mail settings a bit now, so it should be a little faster. There's still a lot of margin for further tweaks, like dropping syslog in favour of multilog, and adding in a local caching nameserver, but it should be much improved now. Also ezmlm will automatically clean off dead accounts, and these can slow things down a lot. After a week or so with the dead accounts gone things should go a lot smoother.
