Can somebody with a non-linux unix box please test the changes to multi-thread locking implemented for ticket #530. To do so, get the latest code from CVS and run the tests defined in the new "thread1.test" file. (If you run all tests, the thread1 tests will be included in the batch.)
I feel confident everything should work correctly, but it would be nice to have comfirmation before the next release.
