Attached is a Power Point presentation that shows how to select a Multi Threaded DLL or a Debug Multi Threaded DLL for the user run-time library for a Visaul Studio Project. In short below are the steps to take. In the Power Point are visual representations of the steps show below.
First Select Project / Settings from the menu bar to bring up the Projects Settings Dialog Box

Next choose the "C/C"++ Tab on the Projects Settings Dialog Box
Then choose "Code Generation" from the "Category" drop down combo box.
Finally select "MultiThreaded DLL" from the "Use run-time library" drop down combo box.
