If you must know it was POE based and no I did not use the CGI module. I have implemented later versions that where capable of using database servers. SQLite amoung them of course as well as MySQL and Postgresql. Part of the reason was actually to learn howto do it manually as well. Reason was if I choose to implement it in FreePascal or PureBasic that I could.
