I think I somehow managed to get it working. All I had to do is add this line: #define _FILE_OFFSET_BITS 64 /* enable large file support */ to the beginning of shell.c The hint came from here: http://lawlor.cs.uaf.edu/~olawlor/ref/examples/unix/index.html (what would we do without Google !?!) Is it possible to include this (or a better equivalent) to the next version?
