We are honored to announce that Bloomberg has joined the SQLite Consortium effect today, 2008-11-01.
The SQLite Consortium is a collaborative effort of leading technology companies that ensures the continuing independence and vitality of the SQLite project. Support from the SQLite Consortium allows the SQLite developers to work on SQLite full-time. In return, Consortium members receive enterprise-level technical support and legal assurances that the SQLite source code and key SQLite developers remain open, accessible, and independent. In addition to Bloomberg, companies participating in the SQLite Consortium are Adobe, Mozilla, and Symbian. The SQLite developers would like to take this opportunity to thank Bloomberg and the other consortium members for their leadership in open-source.
