You have to compile the shell *and* the SQLite library with - -DSQLITE_ENABLE_IOTRACE. It is off by default. I doubt it would be of much help to you unless you are debugging low level SQLite internals in which case you would already know how to enable it :-) Look in sqlite3.c for IOTRACE to see what it emits.
