I just confirmed that the shell download is static. The 566,272 size also indicates static compilation. There are no dependencies other than OS DLLs. c:\windows\system32\KERNEL32.DLL c:\windows\system32\MSVCRT.DLL c:\windows\system32\NTDLL.DLL d:\SQLITE3.EXE

You need both to run the command you give above. Is this true? I thought I was compiling sqlite3.exe as a standalone binary? Does it really require that the DLL be downloaded too?
