A recent version of iTunes for windows has a bug in its installer that puts
sqlite3.dll in the wrong place. The results is an error message on boot-up
complaining about sqlite3_wal_checkpoint() being missing. Based on my
server logs, the problem seems to be particularly acute in Japan. See
http://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q1267373842 for
example. But we've also gotten messages (including some irate late-night
phone calls to my personal telephone) complaining of problems with
English-language versions as well. I'm guessing that Amy's issue is related
to this.

I think the solution is to go to http://www.apple.com/itunes/ and download
the very latest updates to iTunes and reinstall. I'm told (but have not
independently verified) that the installer bug has now been fixed and so
reinstalling from the very latest download should fix the problem.
