The SQLite website download is a 32 bit DLL and will only work in 32 bit processes (that is independent of the OS being 32 or 64 bit). However you can compile the code yourself (use the amalgamation) for your 64 bit target and it will work just fine. In fact SQLite works quite happily on 32 bit and 64 bit platforms, in either endianess and on LP64 model (typically non-Windows) and P64 (Windows), as well as on numerous different CPUs and operating systems. The file format is always the same as does not depend on any of those factors.
