+1e6 Plus e-mail can be searched (so much so that with a nice enough MUA one does not need filters). Web fora? Much harder to search across many of them. I subscribe to an enormous number of lists. I could never manage that with web fora. Just say no to web fora. No, no, no, no, no, ...
