I also disagree that the set of rows returned from a query are purely relational. So do a lot of other purveyors of SQL systems who provide the ranking functionality. In any case, it doesn't matter to me whether or not ranking functionality is added to SQLite. I am simply tired of reading ad hominem attacks when debate over facts would be so much more productive.
