FWIW, since it's inception, S.Q.L has been pronounced allot like CICS. In as much as master Hipp says that the Ite is the most hip way to say things (pun intended) - and that using is more important than saying, I think that we will stick with that classic "kicks" Tao by pronouncing SQL - as classically pronounced - by tenured S.Q.L professionals. I just don't want students to be laughed at by db folks - Will explain more on the video-up.
