I'm not sure whether to take this claim of ignorance at face value or whether its an incredibly subtle troll aimed at Australia's lack of population density (in which case well played sir, I guess you deserve the ashes after all). Postcodes in my city (Perth) cover a *much* wider area than 20 houses - generally several suburbs as Chris Waters suggested. But we jokingly refer to Perth as "the biggest country town in the world" which is why your comparison to rural England is so amusing/cutting :P -Rowan
