It might well be my own introduced typo trying to unpack the garbled 
message, never be polite about an untruth!

If the runs do work like Igor assumed, and there aren't 2 sets of A 
items inside of the I = 1 run, then the solution Igor posted will work 
quite well/efficient enough to be used (unless it's a high-stress 
environment). Simply test it first, if it is bad, try another way.
