We have been succesfully using CrEme 3.* with HSQLDB on devices running
MS PocketPC 2003. What we're trying is switching to Windows Mobile 5
devices.
The problem with this configuration is that HSQLDB never starts. When
trying to load a 1MB database an OutOfMemory exception is thrown even
if there is plenty of memory left. Removing indexes help, but then
everything runs incredibly slow.
A 100% java driver sounds good but we are for now limited to using
CrEme 3 which is PersonalJava/java 1.1.8. If your driver supports this
platform: hurrah, else we must try to port the dll to the ARM.
