Glad it works.
If you can get your hands on Sun's free C compiler (Forte, SunOne or
whatever they call it these days) it might be worth it.
Out of curiousity, can you report the output of this command on your
solaris shared library:
ldd libsqlitejdbc.so
I'd think the only GCC shared lib dependency would be glibc.
