Ok...I got a SQLite 3.5.6 100% Pure Java sqlitejdbc-v039-nested.jar built by cheating a little bit. I turned off JUnit testing. At least it runs the example from the SQLiteJDBC site's front page. Anybody interested in seeing the results?
