Are you using the latest revision from our Github pages?
There are two similar messages in the latest revision:
1) [WARNING] unknown web page charset '...'. Please report by email to ...
2) [ERROR] unknown charset '...'. Please visit ...
but none of those is the same as yours.
In case that the "message" is coming from the declared web page charset,
and you said that the "meta" tag declared "iso-8859-1", there is a
possibility that the problematic "it" is coming from the HTTP header
"Content-type" (Content-type: ...charset=...).
Just to be clear, that charset name is really invalid. In these kind of
cases we usually do some kind of patching (translation of those typos), but
"it" doesn't really have a good substitute.
Also, that is just a warning message. Hence, sqlmap probably recognized a
declared charset from mentioned meta tag afterwards.
