Could be useful if we had something like Trac: TODOs would be in

It would be really nicer than the current solution: some wiki and docs
are outdated but we can not see revision/history, pudge layout does
not render well in my browserS and does not print well,... There is
just this trade-off of install and configure trac.

Setting up and maintaining a Trac instance would be a very useful contribution as well. Getting Trac set up properly can take a little work, unless it is open to spam, but Trac has become a spam target and it is not that easy a system to clean up, so it shouldn't be set up without some spam protection.

If someone can do that so I can point trac.sqlobject.org at the instance, and I'd be happy to deprecate the SF tracker.

Another bit of infrastructure that would be very much appreciated would be some kind of buildbot. This could also help people see the effects of changes on databases they might not have installed.

For documentation, I'm hoping Docudo will come together before too long, and SQLObject docs could be moved there. That would allow more people to maintain the documentation. Though that might be bound to HTML documentation, and I'd be reluctant to give up the plain text reST documentation.

By the way, where does SQLObject 2 fit in this context?

Many people, myself included, are using SQLObject 0.x for production work, so I imagine it will continue being developed indefinitely.

I'm happy for contributors to SQLObject 2, but right now there's infrastructure work at a few levels, and it won't be stable for a while yet.
