Or some bizarre C++ type. It looks an awful lot like a DateTime object
except that it has a very US-Centric Repr string format (do you get
annoyed by developers who make their repr methods look like strings?).
I'm not seeing anything in DB-API about a type you can test for, only a
constructor and a suggestion you use mxDateTime. Probably DateTimeCol
can be updated to convert the special case of Sybase's datetime.
