In my earlier post, I submitted a quick-fix that made a change in that  
line which provides a quick and dirty workaround. But thanks anyway for  
your quick reply ;)
Still, I beleive this is an issue that needs to be addressed soon. It  
seriously impedes development with SQLObject and Postgre. Especially in  
the case you need to re-use an old database, as in this case.
