   Not a bug at all. You should upgrade to SQLObject 0.7.1 and read the
description of the UnicodeCol at

   Most of these Unicode-related problem in MySQL should disappear if you
upgrade to the latest code from 0.7-bugfix branch from SVN. Though I'd like
to hear a report from anyone who has tried it.
