I am sure you mean .delete(). It is implemented as
class SQLObject(...):
def delete(cls, id, connection=None):
obj = cls.get(id, connection=connection)
obj.destroySelf()
delete = classmethod(delete)
So you need to override .destroySelf() in your class; don't forget to
call parent's .destroySelf().
