If 0.8 is stable, why not releasing it indeed. What about the issue on a caching algorithm that maintains a constant cache memory size (not having to flush the cash from time to time) This algorithm would delete cached entries after a specified number of entries is reached. (I don't know what is the difficulty about that) My website database does'nt reach a critical size yet, so i'm not affected yet, but I would find this really annoying.
