It is easy. 0.7 is an old version, it is in maintainance mode - for those who haven't upgraded to 0.8 yet. Today, probably, was the last release. I'd like to stop maintaining it after I release 0.9. 0.8 is the current stable release. 0.9 is not yet released, it is in beta stage. When it is released 0.8 will be moved to maintainance mode - for those who postpone upgrading to 0.9. In short: the revolutionary job done by Luke Opperman to unify SQLObject.select(), sqlbuilder.Select() and DBConnection has finally been merged into the trunk; he did much more than that, and what's better, promised to write documentation; watch http://svn.colorstudy.com/SQLObject/docs/ Meanwhile I am going to leave the town for a long needed vacation. After I return in the beginning of June I will do some cleanup in the trunk and release it as 0.10. The API is not changed much between 0.8, 0.9 and 0.10, so upgrade should be smooth. The short time gap between versions should not be a problem.
