I've successfully built a few Pylons apps with sqlobject. One slightly unusual thing I did was to create a middleware that would catch run each entire request in a transaction. On error, it would roll back the transaction and, if the error was possibly recoverable, retry it. This allowed me to transparently handle things like checking to see if a username was available, then creating the user if so without worrying about race conditions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ sqlobject-discuss mailing list sqlobject-discuss@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/sqlobject-discuss
