Could someone please tell if Sqoop runs on standard hadoop (not CDH, but Hadoop installed on ubuntu)? I am trying to install it on Hadoop 0.20.203.0 and facing several compilation isues. Looking at a few places, it looked like it is only for CDH. Is that true?
