Hallo Rita, das Buch habe ich für etwa ein halbes Jahr in einem Squeak-Kurs eingesetzt, der jetzt im dritten Jahr läuft. Gut fand ich
1) den Übergang von Anweisungen (an den Roboter in den Sprechblasen) zu Anweisungsfolgen (in Workspace) zu Methoden (im Browser) 2) den Übergang von einfachsten geometrischen Figuren (Rechteck) zu anspruchsvollen (goldener Schnitt, Vielecke, Spiralen) 3) den Übergang von Anweisungen in Programmen zu codierten Anweisungen in einer Sprache, die per Programm zu interpretieren ist (S. 218 "Interpreting a Tiny Language"). 4) den Übergang von deterministischen Wegen zu stochastischen (Kap. 23 "Simulating Animal Behavior"). Aus dieser sorgfältig aufgebauten Vielfalt ergeben sich im Unterricht eine Menge Anknüpfungspunkte, um Themen auszubauen. Ich bin gerne bereit, ein Kapitel zur Übersetzung beizusteuern.
