FYI: I kept the 7.3.3 software on my older Apple computer which has OS 10.4.11 (and can't be updated further). But on my newer MacBook Air (OS 10.11), I am using the latest squeeze software. Works great. Don't notice any real difference between the two, except that I can now control squeezebox via iphone app with the newest squeeze software.
